What this policy covers
This page explains how Arlo Designs uses cookies and similar storage on arlodesigns.co.uk, and how you can change your choice.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use the browser’s local storage to remember whether you have accepted or declined optional cookies.
How we use cookies
The site works without optional cookies. We only use optional analytics if you accept them on the cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not load analytics before you accept.
What we store
Essential preference
We store your cookie choice so we do not keep asking on every visit. This is saved in your browser as arlo_cookie_consent (local storage). It records “accepted” or “denied” and does not identify you.
Optional analytics
If you accept optional cookies, we may load Google Analytics 4. That only happens after you accept, and only if analytics is switched on for this site. Google may then set its own cookies to understand which pages are used. IP addresses are anonymised where the tool allows it.
If you decline, analytics scripts are not loaded. The contact form, navigation and website content still work as normal.
Form protection
When you send an enquiry, you are taken to FormSubmit to complete a spam check (Google reCAPTCHA). That happens on FormSubmit’s website, not on ours, and only when you submit the form. It helps stop automated junk reaching our inbox.
